Carnival of the Creators #19

We had so many entries for the Carnival this month that I had to pick and choose. The Carnival of the Creators is a year old now, and we can always use new hosts for it. If you are interested in hosting the Carnival, please e-mail Derek Andrews.

Now, to the blog posts!

First of all, I have to brag a bit about my new garden blog, Earthly Garden. In a recent post there, I included a creative idea for making a low-cost, easy, almost instant, birdbath. Check it out HERE.

Ruth Mitchell talks about Buying Outside the Box in her blog and features contemporary artists and artisans who provide an alternative to all the commercial, mass produced "stuff" out there.

Blue Steel gives instructions on how to make political cartoons with a computer.

Follow the Musical Road presents a blog about setting goals for a musical business.

If you want to write, but don't know how to start, check out Rachel App's blog about writing ten minutes a day in Food for your Mind.

Derek Andrews focuses on one of my favorite collage artists (Claudine Hellmuth) in his new Craft Video blog. He also presents a great blog on using repetition as a design element in his Seafoam Woodturning Studio blog.

Tupelo Kenyon present another music blog about the benefits of using music for personal development.

Cyndi Lavin presents a tutorial in her new Bead-Arts blog on how to make a gorgeous beaded necklace based on a painting by Monet.

Michelle Laycock presents a design for a handmade wedding card in her Ink Artist blog.

And check out Anastasia Knit's new fiber arts blog carnival.

And last, check out my Writer's Inspiration blog for information on how to make your writing richer by focusing on details.

Hope you enjoy this month's Carnival of the Creators blog!

Happy trails,
